e0c1f27e13 simulator: Persist beacon logs (#7394)
Beacon logs in the simulator are printed only to stdout. The logs are usually large, so persisting them would be helpful for debugging.

  Added `--log-dir` parameter to the simulators and a step to upload the logs to Artifacts.

(Update)
Added `--disable-stdout-logging` to disable stdout logging, making the CI page cleaner.

5cd738c882 Use unique arg names for eth1-sim (#4463)
## Issue Addressed

When trying to run `eth1-sim` locally, the simulator doesn't start for me, and panicked due to duplicate arg names for `proposer-nodes` (using same arg names as `nodes`). Not sure why this isn't failing on CI but failing on mine 🤔

```
thread 'main' panicked at 'Argument short must be unique
thread 'main' panicked at 'Argument long must be unique
```

8a3eb4df9c Replace ganache-cli with anvil (#3555)
## Issue Addressed

N/A

## Proposed Changes

Replace ganache-cli with anvil https://github.com/foundry-rs/foundry/blob/master/anvil/README.md
We can lose all js dependencies in CI as a consequence.

## Additional info
Also changes the ethers-rs version used in the execution layer (for the transaction reconstruction) to a newer one. This was necessary to get use the ethers utils for anvil. The fixed execution engine integration tests should catch any potential issues with the payload reconstruction after #3592

7456e1e8fa Separate BN for block proposals (#4182)
It is a well-known fact that IP addresses for beacon nodes used by specific validators can be de-anonymized. There is an assumed risk that a malicious user may attempt to DOS validators when producing blocks to prevent chain growth/liveness.

Although there are a number of ideas put forward to address this, there a few simple approaches we can take to mitigate this risk.

Currently, a Lighthouse user is able to set a number of beacon-nodes that their validator client can connect to. If one beacon node is taken offline, it can fallback to another. Different beacon nodes can use VPNs or rotate IPs in order to mask their IPs.

This PR provides an additional setup option which further mitigates attacks of this kind.

This PR introduces a CLI flag --proposer-only to the beacon node. Setting this flag will configure the beacon node to run with minimal peers and crucially will not subscribe to subnets or sync committees. Therefore nodes of this kind should not be identified as nodes connected to validators of any kind.

It also introduces a CLI flag --proposer-nodes to the validator client. Users can then provide a number of beacon nodes (which may or may not run the --proposer-only flag) that the Validator client will use for block production and propagation only. If these nodes fail, the validator client will fallback to the default list of beacon nodes.

Users are then able to set up a number of beacon nodes dedicated to block proposals (which are unlikely to be identified as validator nodes) and point their validator clients to produce blocks on these nodes and attest on other beacon nodes. An attack attempting to prevent liveness on the eth2 network would then need to preemptively find and attack the proposer nodes which is significantly more difficult than the default setup.

This is a follow on from: #3328

f9b9658711 Add merge support to simulator (#3292)
## Issue Addressed

N/A

## Proposed Changes

Make simulator merge compatible. Adds a `--post_merge` flag to the eth1 simulator that enables a ttd and simulates the merge transition. Uses the `MockServer` in the execution layer test utils to simulate a dummy execution node.

Adds the merge transition simulation to CI.

aad397f00a Resolve Rust 1.56 lints and warnings (#2728)
## Issue Addressed

When compiling with Rust 1.56.0 the compiler generates 3 instances of this warning:

```
warning: trailing semicolon in macro used in expression position
   --> common/eth2_network_config/src/lib.rs:181:24
    |
181 |                     })?;
    |                        ^
...
195 |         let deposit_contract_deploy_block = load_from_file!(DEPLOY_BLOCK_FILE);
    |                                             ---------------------------------- in this macro invocation
    |
    = note: `#[warn(semicolon_in_expressions_from_macros)]` on by default
    = warning: this was previously accepted by the compiler but is being phased out; it will become a hard error in a future release!
    = note: for more information, see issue #79813 <https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/79813>
    = note: this warning originates in the macro `load_from_file` (in Nightly builds, run with -Z macro-backtrace for more info)
```

This warning is completely harmless, but will be visible to users compiling Lighthouse v2.0.1 (or earlier) with Rust 1.56.0 (to be released October 21st). It is **completely safe** to ignore this warning, it's just a superficial change to Rust's syntax.

## Proposed Changes

This PR removes the semi-colon as recommended, and fixes the new Clippy lints from 1.56.0

cdec3cec18 Implement standard eth2.0 API (#1569)
- Resolves #1550
- Resolves #824
- Resolves #825
- Resolves #1131
- Resolves #1411
- Resolves #1256
- Resolve #1177

- Includes the `ShufflingId` struct initially defined in #1492. That PR is now closed and the changes are included here, with significant bug fixes.
- Implement the https://github.com/ethereum/eth2.0-APIs in a new `http_api` crate using `warp`. This replaces the `rest_api` crate.
- Add a new `common/eth2` crate which provides a wrapper around `reqwest`, providing the HTTP client that is used by the validator client and for testing. This replaces the `common/remote_beacon_node` crate.
- Create a `http_metrics` crate which is a dedicated server for Prometheus metrics (they are no longer served on the same port as the REST API). We now have flags for `--metrics`, `--metrics-address`, etc.
- Allow the `subnet_id` to be an optional parameter for `VerifiedUnaggregatedAttestation::verify`. This means it does not need to be provided unnecessarily by the validator client.
- Move `fn map_attestation_committee` in `mod beacon_chain::attestation_verification` to a new `fn with_committee_cache` on the `BeaconChain` so the same cache can be used for obtaining validator duties.
- Add some other helpers to `BeaconChain` to assist with common API duties (e.g., `block_root_at_slot`, `head_beacon_block_root`).
- Change the `NaiveAggregationPool` so it can index attestations by `hash_tree_root(attestation.data)`. This is a requirement of the API.
- Add functions to `BeaconChainHarness` to allow it to create slashings and exits.
- Allow for `eth1::Eth1NetworkId` to go to/from a `String`.
- Add functions to the `OperationPool` to allow getting all objects in the pool.
- Add function to `BeaconState` to check if a committee cache is initialized.
- Fix bug where `seconds_per_eth1_block` was not transferring over from `YamlConfig` to `ChainSpec`.
- Add the `deposit_contract_address` to `YamlConfig` and `ChainSpec`. We needed to be able to return it in an API response.
- Change some uses of serde `serialize_with` and `deserialize_with` to a single use of `with` (code quality).
- Impl `Display` and `FromStr` for several BLS fields.
- Check for clock discrepancy when VC polls BN for sync state (with +/- 1 slot tolerance). This is not intended to be comprehensive, it was just easy to do.

- See #1434 for a per-endpoint overview.
- Seeking clarity here: https://github.com/ethereum/eth2.0-APIs/issues/75
